I'm Jim Rice, owner of Jim Rice Custom Building, a licensed and insured North Carolina general contractor holding an active Residential classification with the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors (Qualifier #Q.104901). I bring over 35 years of hands-on building experience, much of it spent in Maine constructing everything from simple ranches to high-end coastal homes, before I brought that craftsmanship to New Bern in 2021. Today I handle kitchen and bathroom remodeling, home additions, repairs, decks, screened porches, and custom carpentry across New Bern and Eastern North Carolina, with a commitment to quality, integrity, and clear communication.
